Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Gang Show?

A big, fun Scout and Guide variety show with singing, dancing, sketches and loads of energy

Who can join the cast?

Anyone who is an active member of the Scout Association or Girlguiding UK and aged 8yrs or over

Do I need to audition?

No – you can just come along and sign up. Everyone welcome!

How much time per week?

Most people need to attend two rehearsals a week – Saturdays and Mondays. This will be about 3 – 4 hours a week.

Does is cost anything to take part?

There is a small charge of £20 per person to take part to help us cover production costs.

What if I don’t have any dance or singing experience?

Absolutely fine! Everyone is welcome, especially if you are enthusiastic. Let us know if you do have any special talents though as we can sometimes put these to good use!

I’ve heard people talking about Gang Show Camp. What’s that?

Gang Show camp has taken the place of the under 18s cast party in the last few years. It’s usually in May or June after the show and gives the young people a chance to all have some fun with their new friends once the show is finished.
